Insanity Pleas Work
I was listening to the news over the past two days. Susan Wright was convicted of murdering her husband today. It seems that Mr. Wright was prone to knocking Ms Wright around a bit. She had called the police several times but the husband always got off. He sent her to the hospital numerous times and got away with it. Why he always won is still up in the air. Some say Susan Wright always dropped charges. Some say the cops failed to protect her because of the "good ole’‘ boy" syndrome. For me its hard to say. What is not hard to say is that she screwed up. Now, wait and hear me out. Susan tied her husband to the bed and stabbed him 193 times. Arms, neck, eyes, penis, testicles, face, you name it she stabbed him in it. Poor bastard probably looked like a lawn sprinkler when she was done. Susan claims complete fear and terror because she knew if he got up she was dead. She had been terrified all day because she knew he was angry with her. So, how did she screw up killing a man that a few of us would have killed on the spot? Well I will tell ya. She buried him. Thats right she buried him. Under the porch no less.
Now I can see killing someone because you are in total fear of them. Thats usually what spawns a lot of murders. Fear of what the other person might do if they arent gotten rid of.
Sometimes its just stupidity. Like the guy that killed his wife because she spilled the milk. That guy. I tell ya, if I ever meet him personally, Im gonna ride to hell with him just to be sure he gets in the freakin’‘ door! But I thats another rant.
Anyway, thats where Susan Wright screwed up. IF she had stabbed him say.. oh… 100 times and let him bleed to death then she calls the cops. Or better yet wait for someone to find her sitting in the corner starring at his corpse. BOOM! Crime of rage and passion. The Lawyer pleads abject terror, she cries and mutters incoherently. The jury finds her innocent but nuts. And boom again, Bobs your uncle, she is free from the hotel silly in 6 months. And she is clean and rich.
All this is just my opinion. Whats yours?

You can search for Mister or Misses Right all you want. That dont mean they will always be so. :)
