'Dont Eat in India'
I aint going to India. EVER. If for some reason I do go, I damn sure aint eating there.
NEW DELHI (Reuters) - It pays to use a toilet in southern India, as residents are earning close to a dollar a month by using public urinals, a scheme launched by authorities to promote hygiene and research in rural areas.
Dozens of people are queuing up to use toilets in Musiri, a remote town in Tamil Nadu state, where authorities have succeeded in keeping street corners clean with the new scheme, The Times of India newspaper said on Sunday.
"In fact, many of us started using toilets for urination only after the ecosan (ecological sanitation) toilets were constructed in the area," said S. Rajasekaran, a truck cleaner.
The urine was also being collected and tested for its efficacy as a crop fertilizer, an official of the state's agricultural university added.
People relieving themselves in the open is a common sight in India's rural towns and villages, as basic sanitation still eludes millions.

So let me get this right. The government is paying people. To use a toilet? The government has to give the rwesidents money not to pee on the street? WTF? This is the country that all our support jobs are being outsourced to? These people are the benefactors of several of my friends being out of work? People that arent even smart enough to find a tree or dig a hole to do their bussiness in?The sanitation worker, himself says HE only started using toilets when they built them recently. What the hell happended to the money they were getting from us? I know Dell, SBC, Toshiba, and several other companies shut down and started hosting tech support there. Are you telling me that we lost jobs in America and they didnt atleast build decent sanitation? WTF did they spend the money on? Elephant slippers? Replacement dots for the women? WHAT?
I want to knowm how exactly the goverment knows who peed when and where? How do you get your money? Is there some form to fll out? Do you measurwe it before you finish? What if you go more than average? Does some guy give you an extra 30 cets because you had a special time and had to pee more often? What about pregnant women? they always have to pee. Do they earn double because they are pee'ing for two? How the hell does this work?
Its just one more thing that makes me glad to live in America.
